About Mary Anderson Schroeter, MSW, LCSW
I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in 1999. I chose the field of Social Work because it aligns with my belief in how someone's perspective, or map of the world, is a function not only of their genetics but of their environment as well. It is an ecological, systems-based approach to understanding one’s behavior in their environment.
Post-Masters I worked in Child Protection, Hospital Social Work and School Social Work. I began a private practice in 2012. I have an Expert Clinician Certificate from the Postpartum Stress Institute in Pennsylvania, I am certified in EMDR, and an Advanced Practitioner in Splankna.
